Encouragement

We began today with ; Philippians 4: 4 through 8  The King James reads ,”Rejoice in the Lord: and again I say , rejoice. Let your moderation be known into all men. The Lord is at hand.Be careful for nothing ; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God , which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren , whatsoever things are true. whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”                                                                                                                       I believe you will receive  encouragement when reading these verses from our bible and also from the New Living Translation which starts at verse 4 also :”Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember the Lord is coming soon.  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now , dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right.Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           It has been said that encouragement is like a peanut  butter sandwich, the more you spread it around, the better things stick together.

Thanks for all your prayers and remember God in all you do, Stan and Helen, May God bless and keep you !
